How can anyone say that there are too many deer? When was the last time you saw a wild deer in this area? The problem is not that they need culling to keep the herds healthy. The problem is two-fold. Firstly that if they were allowed freedom of movement that would enable them to find food, they would damage farmers crops. And of course, farmers crops are more important than the life of an animal because it has a monetary value.

Secondly, the requirement for culling is a misleading point put about by those who take pleasure in blood lust. They have to justify their actions and this is the only thing that they can come up with. Once man learns to live in harmony with nature, the world will be a much better place.

And I guess I could accept the death of this animal if it was for its meat, much as I would not condone it, but this animal was killed simply for the sake of blood lust. And these sort of people who kill purely for the sake of killing do not deserve to be part of society.
