    you are dreaming Vic.

    Two facts:

1/ There is zero chance of UKIP making a significant breakthrough in their own right. They at most can take some votes away from the Conservatives enough, in some places, to let in a pro EU Lib or Lab MP.

2/ You are risking too much on a single throw of the dice at the wrong time, if we were to go for a 'in or out' referendum on the EU there is too great a risk that we would lose it. I want us out of the EU too much to risk such a referendum now. In time, the way they are going, a referendum will work out well for us, but now is not the time. All that would happen is the EU fanatics would shout extremism and the public, however much they dislike the EU, will react and vote against an all out policy. More work must be done on public opinion before a referendum, the EU will sink itself, you can be sure of that and eventually it will be the Conservatives who get us out of that madhouse.
