The Commission says we should do this but the decision has to be made as to whether we should just ignore them and not pay any fines imposed on us.
That is what I would do.
Cameron is trying to build alliances with other EU countries to fight the Commission on this.
As this is, it just takes us a step nearer to getting out of this EU hellhole, increasing further public resentment.

who knows or cares?
Well...........it is intriguing..........because the best paid jobs in the world are those whom nobody knows or cares what you do

because then you can do nothing....................
It also means we have become brainwashed and mindless in not knowing or caring

MEPs are elected on a Party list PR system As such we do not elect a particular MEP and our European constituency ranges from Thanet along the south coast to Southampton and up to north of London somewhere, cutting south around London to the Thames estuary, a huge area. If memory serves me right here are 10 MEPs elected for this massive area and the 'big names' who are better known are:
Dan Hannan
Richard Ashworth and
Nirj Deva
I know both Dan and Richard reasonably well and they are both first class hard working MEPs.
Oh - we should care because increasingly our once supreme parliament is working to the instructions of unelected Brussels beaurocrats and our MEPs at least have some say in what goes on there.

An alliance of European countries is rebelling against EU plans to make Britain open its doors to thousands of 'benefit tourists'.
Ministers have joined forces with 12 other nations - including France, Germany and Denmark - angry at the European Commission's threat to take the UK to court over rules which limit foreigners' ability to claim benefits.
If the Commission gets its way, Britain could be hit with an extra £2.5billion in welfare payments, making it even harder to tackle our huge deficit
