    Yes indeed Norway does pay billions into the EU and are happy to do it. They have an unusual relationship but are still very much in. Remembering that Norway per head are one of the richest of nations anywhere..sitting on a fortune in oil gas and fishing ( they are fish mad across Europe and have you seen the cost of fish lately!!)...so they could easily be self contained but very much chose to be in the EU.
