    Norway pays £billions into the EU in order to trade but, nevertheless are still better off out.

    A better model is Switzerland as a model for the UK when we are eventually out of the EU.

    Cameron is still playing the establishment game on the EU and will carry on doing so for a while yet but the message is getting home and the pressure for exit in the Conservative Party continues to build. Owen Patterson being the latest adding to that 'gentle' pressure on route to making an exit respectable rather than extremist in the eyes of more and more people.
