    I think that email will be around for a long time yet Howard. Skype, Facetime and Messages are other apps which are being increasingly useful but e-mailing is more convenient for many.

    I note in the link that you provided the writer seemed to forget you can unsubscribe from those that you no longer require to receive. Perhaps, in his case, a little good housekeeping would cut the unwanted volume down a bit!
