    Jules Verne wrote of launching spacecraft as explosive projectiles from Florida long before NASA picked the location to take advantage of the earths spin etc. From there they have successfully launched robot explorers to Mars (not all of them crashed) as well as probes to Venus, the outer planets and even into the depths of space beyond our solar system. Traces of water have been found on Mars and the Moon as well as being identified in the atmospheres of planets orbiting distant stars. None of this has been reported in Watchtower, or similar publications, but is freely available in more scientific books, journals or on the internet.
