  Indeed you are right Colin, science fact has often come from science fiction, indeed fact has often surpassed fiction.
  
  Arthur C Clarke reputedly wrote about satellites before they were fact - one example.
  
  The universe is so vast, there are billions of stars in our 'small' galaxy and billions of galaxies.
  
  It is incomprehensible that there should not be life elsewhere. Indeed the latest scientific surveys indicate there are even more earth-like planets than previously thought making the chances of life even higher. then of course there may be life very different to what we know!!!!
