Funny comments. Each region has its own dialect .I personally love to hear the east Anglian one.Essex then onto Suffolk and Norfolk .When I was a GPO telephonist we had to learn how to pronounce some of the village names..My husband was from West Cornwall and when he returned home being with his family and friends I had to try to understand what they were saying.Mt Daughter in law from Devon often uses words from Devon.
After living in so many Counties I don’t really have an accent .Probably come over rather posh as that’s how we were taught to speak .
Both my Daughter and Granddaughter attended DGSG and we used to say they have the Grammar School twang.
Makes life interesting.North Kent different to. South Kent .
