  Well so far this week they have tested a nuclear bomb and added to that have fired three missiles by way of a test. It is also designed to strike the fear of God into their neighbours, which of course it's acheiving.
  
  With regard to CND Keef...I think that would be the wrong direction to go. never has CND been more irrelevant. In an era when you had relatively responsible countries in an arms race, you could have at least have envisaged some chance of a negotiated reduction in weapons, or even total disarmament , but not anymore.
  
  These rogue states are not negotiate-able with. If we disarmed here and places like Iran and N Korea had global weapons of mass destruction, I wouldnt give a prayer for our survival. The only thing that keeps them in check is that we can annihilate them by return mail.
  
  CND for those who dont know is that old group from those heady but scary 1960's ...we were on the brink of total destruction a number of times. In this environment CND used to demonstrate a lot for total nuclear disarmament and you could see their point...perhaps. They were big once upon a time, but their influence has wained.
