    Now I believe, but am not 100%, that the Russells who ran the shop on the 30s, may have been the same as Mr Hilton E, and Mrs Ellen J. Russell, Mayor and Mayoress of Dover for two terms 1928-30. If so, you have inherited a mayor's house!
