    The Clock Tower and the hovercraft propeller amongst the final remains of the old hoverport buildings. Sadly, the propeller is not going to be put on display in Dover to commemorate the great days of the hovercraft operating from the port. Almost all trace that they ever existed will therefore have been erased from their principal focus of operation. It has been left to the Hovercraft Museum Trust to rescue this colourful relic and it will go to their site in Lee-on-Solent.
