One thing is for sure, the UK will once again be downgraded by the credit agencies following the absurd budget announced yesterday.
One thing that Osbourne could have and should have done is to announce his intentions to scrap the climate change act. At a stroke the stock market would have soared and investors would feel more confident to invest in Britain. As it stands this act, as I have pointed out many times before, will spell the death knell to our economy over everything else.
Unfortunately all three parties are so bound to the belief that they can control the weather that the likelihood of this happening is, like the weather over the next few day, zero.
