Yes ,I miss him he is a very good talker, not like the one they have now,and he knows all about Dover and the District a real local man.
I found the Gen Election very boring last time round,I was the only one puting anylife into it,and they even walk out at one meeting when I got up to talk, you can still see it now my loging in my name.As I said if Mr Walkins had one more year at it,he would have been our MP.Dare I say it join UKIP stand again you would do well.

Very Kind Vic, I think!! But no thanks.
Dover has a talented MP who is doing his best for the constituency, as I have to say Gwyn Prosser , David Shaw & Peter Rees did in their time. So no bias as far as I'm concerned. The present MP spends a great deal of time in the constituency fulfilling his local role & doing constituency work.

a heart warming post from paul about the various mp's that have selflessly devoted their lives to the citizenry of dover and deal.
thinking back these have been the people representing me before i moved here - reg prentice, ron leighton, tony banks, sir john biggs davison, eleanor laing, neil thorne and mike gapes.
thankfully messrs prosser and elphicke have now saved the day.

Vic, in 2005 he was campaigning for the privatisation of the port. I have forgiven him - have you?

I do not agree with him over many things, but I like the way he talks, and still trying to tell me to seat down at meetings, somthings will always be the same.

Right, Vic, I have also tried to get you to sit down at a public meeting but even the Town Sergeant couldn't shut you up. Likewise you and I disagree regularly but I hope it's all within the spirit of friendship.

I'm sure Paul Watkins is a man of principle, who in Office will always cross the T's and dot the I's.

He would have been a good local MP for Dover, and he knows he walked away at the wrong time, but not to late to return. two years yet before the next Gen/Election if the blues are to hold on to the Dover seat, then they need to get a new person standing next time.
