History repeating itself with but one small alteration. For in this day and age we have, 'The night of the long spoons'.

Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

Playing devils advocate, is it fair to blame the son, who has lived in this country since he was nine, for the father's terrible crimes.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

he defends his father as a democrat and lives off of the money, even has a 10 million quid house in mayfair.
the politicians know this but like his money and influence, also many syrians want him extradited as a criminal.

The simple fact is that in the real world you have to deal with some very dubious characters. We all do and the more prominent you are all the more dubious characters you must mix with. You just have to check you still have your watch and wash your hands after shaking hands with them!!!

# 4 Agree........Playing devils advocate...........Gadaffi has some ``nice`` sons.
Devils advocate................No such thing as a free lunch or supper.....there will be future expectations/dealings.
# 8 ............No..........after many years in mid/far east.........you do not wash your hands you count your fingers.

Somehow I've got a vague idea that Britain might just have run out of money to take part in any Syria campaign.
Not that anyone has mentioned one, but I doubt Dave could get through with anything in that direction either.
Let's hope the Syrians come to an agreement to solve their disputes peacefully.
