All I can say is Ann Barnes with the cock up with the young person appointment
now I see the failed Lib Dem Peter Carroll also given a contract shows how Mrs Barnes hasn't got her ear to the ground
Peter Caroll in my many meetings with him didn't inspire me at all

All in it together? MPs WILL get a £10,000 pay rise worth up to 12 per cent
Regulator to announce award, with automatic annual increases to follow
MPs will be handed inflation-busting pay rises of £10,000 a year - worth up to 12 per cent
on top of their current salaries.

Yes now the MP's in todays society where nearly everyone is hurting through the cuts
the MP's use the excuse of it being an independent body authorising the rise.
They would have been better to have frozen there wages, or a small rise
but this is again going to be seen as MP's total disregard for those that elect them, and it will come back to bite them

Some of the best ideas can sneak up upon an issue. On Andy Murry's success and Party funding...
" It might clarify matters if MPs, like the successful sports people David Cameron seems so eager to associate with, wore labels on their clothing showing who was sponsoring them or paying to have them represent them in parliament?

A couple of small points from this article:
The recommended increase in MPs' pay of more than 11% is compared with what it is today.
There are, in fact, two planned 1% increases before then which means that in 2015 - the year in which the pay rise is meant to be implemented - the increase would be £6,300 or 9.3%.
A Labour source pointed out that the law which created Ipsa forces it to review MPs' pay again at the start of the next Parliament, so this pay rise was "pie in the sky".

Ukip say that UK MPs should get a 75% pay cut,
The laws are past in the EU parliament not the UK parliament

Ipsa chairman Sir Ian Kennedy thinks MPs should have a £12000 a year pay rise.
Sir Ian Kennedy gets £700 per day as chairman
And his qualification for the job are, A complete lack of reality.
I think they need a 75% pay cut, to reflect the job being sub-out to the EU.
