    Agree that the footfall has gone from bad to almost non existent over the last few years, just a cut through for people going to Morrison's or Asda now. There have been good people running the cafe trying out new ideas but I think the death knell came with the smoking ban. The bit in the centre always had two tables full of what I presume were families who had a full breakfast followed by tea, cigarettes and generally chatting well away from people within the cafe that in all probability didn't like smoke.

    I doubt the massive breakfast stunt will do much to stem the problem now that it has been conquered.
