Barry, "an economic recovery will be the best hope ..."
Especially since the Cabinet let fly a few months ago the promise, published on the News, that we will be suffering until 2026, before things start getting better.

Roger, you wrote about the Conservative party. When they made their statement about 13 years of gloom, I realised then that we have silly parties, that the People will not fall for these parties again, because they take pleasure in making us suffer for no reason.

There is no conventional way in the present system that would allow even for a budget free of deficit, let alone a reduction of the sovereign debt, and that applies to Britain as much as to any other indebted European country.

The whole economy is based on speculation and debt, both private and public, and this is particularly the case of the UK, and so we have house prices many times the value of a house, top-salary earners giving themselves bonuses 3-4 times higher than their salary, people who have each horded hundreds of millions or even billions of pounds in private assets, and digital printing of money by the Bank of England to artificially keep the dead system on impulsive reactions, to the sole benefit of the speculators.

George Osborne's policies would be a sad joke if it wasn't for the despair they inflict on the masses. So it's not a joke, but something very serious.

My personal belief is that we will have a constitutional Government, not a political one, in order for our Economy to prosper. Politics in the UK today are speculation-based, but in a debt-ridden economy, already ruined through speculation, this can only lead to one thing for the economy to remain on impulse-status: BoE QE digital printing of money.

In reality, the present economic system is dead!
