That's really quite bizarre. No longer then 'the best man for the job', but the 'best person for the job considering race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality and disability (or lack of it)'. Which means that we could end up with the least funny comic in the history of the world as long as they fit all the criteria for diversity. For example, if we needed an overweight (obesity) Yorkshire (north of Watford) talentless (under skilled) drunken (substance abuse) comedian who isn't remotely funny....oh, sorry, we've already got vic reeves.
Be funny to see lots of white middle class university educated ladies performing gangsta rap hip hop in the style of Snoop Dogg, as I feel there may be a shortage ion that particular area of diversity. Not bad enough that our licence fee had to pay for the jimmy saville school of pedophilia, now we have to suffer this politically correct nonsense.
Better add, I'm not generally prejudiced against any of the above groups of people, apart of course from vic reeves who is an oxygen thief.

Instead of using various actors of colour ,sexual preferences, disability etc in their tv programmes etc, maybe they could find a black, disabled, asylum seeking, lesbian with learning difficulties.Just one person with these atributes could save them a fortune.

Back in the days of Robin Day on at 10 30 pm each night he introduced a lady as ticking all the boxes as she was a Black disabled lesbian from Brixton, he did get a funny look from her can't think why.
