  Can the Banks be sued for acting irresponsibly, but not illegally ? I know it said about misrepresenting the quality of those sub-prime mortgages, but as with most things like this, isn't it up to the purchaser to check the state of what they're buying ? "Buyer be ware" for example.

  I'm not a leftie in any way, shape or form, but there is something singularly wrong with society, when only the lower half of it gets the raw deal.
