Judith, do spectacles have arms or legs?

Strictly speaking they are called "sides". In real life legs, arms, sides are interchangeable terms. People love to joke about arms and legs being broken and of course they love the one about "having a screw loose."

"having a screw loose."
Ho-ho-ho, I'm splitting my 'arms' laughing, or should that be 'legs'?
Cricket though, what is that all about? Has me stumped.

Cricket is brilliant so many variables and twists and turns. I spent my teenage years watching Kent play at Canterbury, Folkestone and Dover and listening to TMS. Once you have learnt to love cricket it is a lifelong passion.

Well yes, I have seen men's eyes glaze over at the thought of the seven day game, as with the Iditarod, I know such things go on, but...

test match special is unmissable, even people with little interest in the game listen in.
brian johnston and john arlott were the best for me but others come along and put their mark down.

Time for a morning laugh with Brian Johnston who always managed to make the most boring match seem interesting.
