    [In posting this thread I have ticked the box admitting that this is about Politics, but then as I am convinced that everything to do with people is Politics, this is no surprise.]

    Should we rush to blame the children? Fall over one-another to blame the 'other'? Freely admit that 'we' can no longer afford to educate children and the sooner 'we' start another shooting war the better?

    Speaking of my own education:I was probably a bit dyspeptic, (but hey-ho, if it was good enough for Mrs. Malaprop its good enough for me. ) and hammered for it.

    That Education has moved on from this is probably a good thing, but where is to go from here?
