19:5170644Yes Vic it was a bit tooooo offensive I think in general terms. Ive dropped Rick an email and he may be able to revamp his idea...that ie we are spending too much money on the Popes visit. But of course Rick didnt leave it that simply.

22:2670718interesting that only a few thousand tickets were sent to ireland which has an 88% catholic population.
most were sent back unsold, seems that times have changed, the faithful will not blindly follow anymore.
the present pontiff has not attracted the following that he thinks he deserves.
lessons to be learned me thinks.

the church has to start afresh and regain the confidence of its previous adherents, will not be easy though.
