about half an hour ago i entered the st martin's battery car park on foot to be met by a car reversing towards me, moving to one side the car then followed me. ducking very smartly to one side i then entered the peripheral vision of the driver who looked up braked said "sorry" and continued texting.
someone not so mobile would have had some nasty injuries caused by this pillock.

Friend of mine lives opposite the police station in Canterbury. On his walk to the office each day he loses count of the number of drivers texting, tweeting and whatever else they do on their phones right in front of the Ol' Bill Shop.

must be one of the most stupid things that a person can do, i regular see young mums doing a right turn into the fast moving folkestone road with children in the car - texting way or talking into the thing.

I have seen a police driver doing it while driving up Biggin St threading his way through pedestrians. Not recently I have to admit.

I got done for speeding just over 30about 38ph anyway I could pay the find or go on a speed awearess thing so not wanting the 3points I paid out the ex cash it was £85 and went it was about 5hours or just over must say it was the best thing I ever done and it goes to show you what some get up to when driving and what happens to some meaning crashs etc. It done me good by going and I know I am a better driver for going even that I have been driving about 55years.

I once followed a very erratic driver along the A2, determined to overtake as soon as I could, glancing across as I passed only to see the young lady applying her mascara!
