Two men charged with Terrorism Offences
Two men who were arrested at Dover Port on Friday 15 July have been charged with offences under the Terrorism Act 2000 by officers from the South East Counter Terrorism Unit.
Christian David Erkart Heinz Emde, 28-years-old, and Robert Baum, 23-years-old, both from Germany, have been charged with the collection or possession of information likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism, contrary to Section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
Both men have been remanded in custody and will appear at the City of Westminster Magistrates Court on Wednesday 27 July.
