it has always been a problem where nurses can find it more remunerative to go through an agency rather than be employed by the n.h.s.
the problem was they had no holiday entitlement or sick pay but i believe the rules have changed on this.

agencies dont have any better rights even now
but the pay is better

i will rephrase that keith, it is temporary staff that have better conditions nowadays.

They use agency workers because they can sack them at will,, and do not qualify for an expensive gold plated pensions.
