  Technology never ceases to amaze but this is probably technology gone mad. A black box in your car watching how you drive!!?....its an insurance inspiration. Motivated by the fact that last year there was a new European Court of Justice ruling...stating that women will be charged their car insurance at the same rate as men. We are all equal under the law...so sayeth the European Court.
  
  Previously of course men were being charged more than women. But guys in Belgium mounted a legal challenge as they felt we should all be charged the same...and who could argue with that..after all imagine the uproar if the boot was on the other foot!
  
  Of course the reality is that women are... in insurance terms... better drivers, being more cautious, more considered...less likely to have a claim. But that counts for nothing under the new ruling.
  
  Its all about equality. The result will probably be that male insurance will come down a tad, womens will go up a tad, thereby producing a level playing field.
