Went past a shop in the High Street earlier that seemed to sell a bit of everything but had a yellow sign in the window advertising Tarot readings £.20 for half an hour I think.
Does anyone actually believe in it?

People must believe in it, otherwise these 'practitioners' (I'm being polite) would not be advertising their services.

They are nothing but con artists preying on the weak and gullible. They should be arrested for fraud.

Some years ago when the 0898 numbers came out covering every subject of the sun with the amount payable per minute in the tiniest print possible, I knew someone who could not start the day without dialling her horoscope. It goes without saying that BT cut off her phone due to non payment after a few months. This was at a time when mobiles first came on the market with their sky high call rates and she just carried on from there.
