I should have mentioned this before now, we went in before xmas, had one of the best meals in ages and very reasonably priced.
Its important to support these venues run by local people, give it a try

The food in the Arlington is very reasonable, we had a really nice meal there before Christmas and very nice it was too!

We've dined in there a couple of times and quite enjoyed it. One of the desserts was £8.00, so didn't have that.
