It has longed seemed to me that, "It is science in the service of politics," .
Never in the field of human conflict has there been greater panic than when a replacement for the cold-war was sought.
Like employment in much of the Civil Service, Health, Education, Law Enforcement and Politics too, it would be a far easier and more pleasant experience if it was not for having to deal with the mass of the public. 'Fear' of some sort, engendered and maintained, is a great boon to those who see 'civilians' as a less than necessary evil. As if there was not enough uncertainty in life itself.
Then, along comes an election. Which, as we all know, is ever a clear choice between widely different points of view, and is at all times open and fair?
