I have seen the swifts and house martins flying around but not so many as usual, the swallows do not seem to like this bit of Dover.

We usually have a few nesting in the walls next to our bathroom (we are too soppy to get rid of them and they come back every year...!) but there have been far fewer this year.

Only one or two.
When we first came here, 40 years ago the martins nested every year under the eaves, for many years, but for the last 20 years not.

At the pub we used to get a martins nest just above the back door, lovely but.......... Also the swallows in the timber cover at the throwing end of the skittle ally, a game in progress did not seem to bother them at all.
