First of all it is the usual Conservative supporting newspapers who are coming out with these discrediting features right on the eve of the Labour conference. This isnt the only one, as we have seen. They save them up, waiting for the right moment to inflict as much damage as possible on Labour. But there we are, as long as we recognise the signs.

I wouldnt say the indigenous British are despised by their own government Alex but I would say that Mr Cameron in his televison debates promised an end to immigration or a cap on it to be more accurate..but essentially it isnt something he can do. We ourselves migrate, we have Brits pouring into France for example, and we have others coming here so there is legitimate ebb and flow. The borders are open and there is fluidity of movement in the EU so no government can stop this.. but it also works for us too.

Talk to employers, they need workers..where are they to come from? In some areas we have no jobs, see the other thread, but in other areas we have vacancies that cant be filled or wont be filled, usually at the lower end of the job market scale. But nevertheless jobs to be done....it has been shown over and over again that the indigenous wont do these jobs...long tiring hours in a busy London restaurant kitchen for example. Nobody queuing up for that one.
