Four of the new leaders are from Gaddafi's old regime. I think I will wait to see what happens next before making judgement but as my old mother used to say ''better the devil you know'' could well ring true .Democracy, stability, human rights, etc is what is required by Libya but will the Wests oil demands take precendence?

It's no bad thing that after such a violent struggle there is more than one 'band-wagon' to leap upon.
No side has the right to expect all to fall-in with their plans. If the bankrolling by Libya in the past stands them in good stead here and there, is this not entirely a human thing?
The one word that must scream out from any conversation on the bankrolling of Africa at this time is...China.
It would be a whole other kettle of fish if those who recognise the TNC and those who do not fell into two camps, split down the fault line of those bankrolled by China and those others bankrolled by the West.
If this is only continental-Africa bickering then all well and good. Let's not adopt this supposed orphan, Madonna style, into the EU from it's true parent, Africa.
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.
