  David and I work well together, we both know what needs doing and when.
  
  The only blight on the day was at the end when a chap came up to me and said that he was "disgusted" at not being called out by name to lay a wreath. He did in fact send his wife over first to query it. Checking my running order I found that I did in fact miss him out, he was right at the top of page two hidden under the clip on my clipboard. I apologised but he wasn't having any of it and just kept on complaining. He demanded to know what my position was so that he could write a formal complaint and take it further. When I asked him why he didn't lay the wreath at the end when I invited "anyone else" he commented that he wasn't there to join the also rans! I am surprised that someone so self opinionated should have the postion he has in society but I suppose it takes all sorts.
