from the 1st august the service that runs from dover to new romney(via folkestone and hythe) namely the 101 and 102 will run at 15 minutes intervals instead of the present 20.
they do not give a date when this will revert back but i would imagine it will be when the schools go back.

For some reason the 15A now doesn't call at South Street going north but does coming back. Odd.

they are running late at present keith due to much higher passenger numbers.
the time it takes too disgorge then load passengers at pencester road can easily take 10 minutes.
stagecoach would not put on extra unless they were going to make a profit out of it.
also as you reminded me last week, during the school holidays they do a deal where if an adult pays full fare for a day ticket explorer(or whatever they call it now) they can take 2 kids for next to nothing.

just to confirm that the 4 an hour service during the day is a permanent measure, i initially thought it was just for the summer.

In the days of my youth (sigh!) the 90 used to run every 7½ minutes. But then there weren't many cars about.

definitely permanent keith.
other routes in east kent are having extra buses to cope with demand.
the high price of fuel is having an effect on bus use and also we suddenly have a bicycle shop open up.
