I am 100% behind BarryW and Bob. It is outrageous that people are to be fleeced in orded to pursue education - it should be a right and free. But there are so many degrees in non-academic subjects - what's the point? And the many people more suited to alternative education in, for example, plumbing or sheep husbandry should not be made to feel less worthy or inferior - all education matters. Some are more academic, some are more practical - where's the problem? The problem is that the right to a free education has been shat on by Blair and now this multi-hued shower playing at Government. They should be properly ashamed of themselves, red-faced and yellow-spined with shame, unable to leave the house (primary residence or not) because of the weight of shame that pulls their feet earthwards, unable to eat because they are unworthy of the food. The opportunity to think freely, to follow an argument, ponder, conclude, develop opinions, debate, grow should be the eternal right and freedom of human beings, not a privilege to be bartered away by those who have never known or understood the hunger for knowledge or the thirst to grow. Bastards!
