Alright, let's forget that last time round the students almost barged into Parliament and had already started dismantling the Treasury.
Assuming that today we saw a peaceful demonstration, which was allowed and not forbidden, and that all went well, no doubt the rubber bullet has had an effect, on this occasion and on future demonstrations: no violence, no rubber bullet.
True, the present students are the ones who will be helping to design the future wind-turbine, and who will give us a hand in paying off a sovereign debt that gets larger ev'ry day, and some will be signing on too.
Maybe somebody ought tell them that if they got free uni, then their grandchildren will still be paying off the sovereign debts.
Either that, or learning to grind wheat by hand at the grinding mill if we get back to the Neolithic Stone Age.
Here in Britain we're paying just about for everyone, at home and abroad. Our NHS and education system are bursting at the seams, our jobcentres are at full capacity, we're supposed to bail out half of Europe, and maintain another 30% of Europe anyway.
We have to see spending cuts of 40% to the councils, cuts to the Police and the Defence, cuts in public sector pensions, cancelling of child benefit to many hard-working families, cuts in public sector jobs.
Factories won't employ us Brits anyway.
About time the students started reading the newspapers, methinks, and seeing what reality really is out here in the harsh world
I've just got my account book up to date: it results that since end of June I've done about 40 hours a week non-stop on something like £1.80 an hour.
