we have all heard of them, church goers in the main that go out late at night helping those that have suddenly been taken drunk to get home safely.
heard a whisper today that a group is in training to do this in dover, hope this is true with only rare police presence here at night.

They have been going for a couple of years in Dover I know DTC how to fund them at the start.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

I remember seeing it in the local paper (not sure which one - or it may have been both).
Good Luck to them and well done, I say.

this subject seems to have gone off the radar but the volunteers are quietly going about their work and were joined by clair hawkins last evening/this morning on a 10 pm - 3 am shift and has kindly consented to us using her photo.

They had a stand at the Regatta too. Excellent work, but mostly under the radar of thanks and praise. A sad but necessary reality that highlights the desperate times we are living through.
