Last night we had a Tower Hamlets Forum meeting at Curzon Hall, when I left I could hear Dogs barking and screaming and lots of voices.I walked up towards Asor School and the noises got louder and there were several people looking towards the fields behind Priory Fields school, the fields actually belong to Astor. This was about 8.30pm
So I carried on walking towards the noise and climbed up the bank to get a better view,I could see 20-30 kids but could hear lots more on the top field,I called the Police and by the time they arrived there were 60-70 children hanging around by the Children's play area and Scout hut.
When the Police arrived most ran off in every direction, leaving a group of 20 odd,the Police questioned them and searched the area but found nothing,as I walked around Tower Hamlets there were small groups of kids hanging around.
By the way the three Police that were there 1 had to come from St Margarets.Strange !

I do hope dog fighting has not hit Dover, popular in other places such as London.

If you know that Keith you should have brought it to the attention of the police.

I dont think it was a Dog Fighting thing,I think the dogs were barking because of the amount of noise/or what ever was going on.

Perhaps the children were discussing the new unemployment figures, and the impact it will have on them when they leave Astor school.
