    Just passing on info received from a friend in Thanet who was at the consultation. I wasn't there, but she states ''Just to let the residents of Thanet know, after the public "consultation" last night regarding night flights over Thanet from Manston airport, we found out since the wind farm was activated, the radar at the airport now "doesn't work properly" and they can no longer land a plane safely. The earliest the airport will aquire an appropriate radar is November 2011.''

    Hopefully, she has been misinformed; I would hope so anyhow! It seems strange that they were left with the impression that this is unsafe, if that is not the case
