    Hi Sue, re your post on the street furniture - the black and gold street furniture was really, really tatty, rusted and chipped. The crests were unrecognisable as crests - all/most colour gone from them. I understand that Dover Town Council liaised with officers at DDC to get them repainted and that the colour was agreed with DDC officers before repainting was done. In my own view, just the fact that they had been de-scaled and painted (whatever the colour) made them look a thousand times better than they did previously.

    As for Blue Bird - I refer you to the following as the genus does exist: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluebird
