While I don't question that she is a hard working and dedicated councillor, I have seen little of it in her (my) ward.
For example there has been a chest of drawers, baby cot and buggy dumped at the end of her rd for at least 4 mths, slowly being dismantled and disseminated by the local children there are vast amounts of dumped rubbish over the fence along Barwick rd. There is a big problem of residents flytipping on there own doorstep it's getting like Folkestone rd.
She must leave home and return in the dark not too see the deterioration or just does not report it. The community here has been without a play area for a considerable time now and I have heard or seen no progress on getting one back.
I don't know whether her good works are enough to win the award, good luck to her, but I strongly believe one should be judged on their failings and non achievements as much as the successes.
If a person cherry picks the projects they get involved with you can hardly judge them fairly, I don't point the finger at Sue for this but there are a lot of things not being done in the ward and I have heard nothing from any of our 3 councillors in the way of addressing or highlighting them
