Well a happy St Patricks day to all. I never see much celebration of it in Dover but elsewhere they push the boat out in grand style. Dublin will rock and roll and certainly Temple Bar as mentioned above will be heaving...and no doubt will experience some of that other kind of heaving after all the black stuff gets swallowed on saturday night. The Saint himself would be tut tutting from the wings but with a glint in his Oeye.
I see there is no mention of Irish Stew in the delights suggested on the link..rather a Nettle and Sorrel Omelette bejayses. That's rather fancy that one is so it is..I've never had nettle, (they bring me out in a rash!!
) and I dont even know what Sorrel is...but what the hell you can try anything once. ( as long as its only once otherwise you might get to like it!
