  Dover certainly looks good trouble is it is just a little bit to far for me to go.

  Celebrating the national days of other countries is fine but the false snobbery surrounding St George's Day among the English middle class tells its own story. Ever over-competitive (while pretending very hard not to be).
  
  The English class system really has a lot to answer for.

  You maybe aware Dover Town Councillors always wear a red rose on their robes on St Georges Day .Thankfully I was never invited to wear one.I do believe in celebrating national days .but for some reason Labour use the red rose on leaflets etc.Its nothing to do with middle class or any class.

  For a moment there I thought that Sue had said Town Councillors wore a red nose on St George's Day which would have been very fitting for clowns.
