Looking absolutely glorious at the moment with all the different varieties of daffodils coming into bloom.
A veritable oasis in the centre of Dover.

Here's one for you Sue...
this one taken a few years ago and you are right, its a coloured oasis in the middle of Dover.
Sometimes the cherry blosson trees bloom in harmony and then you can get even better pictures.

The picture was taken last year.

All credit to the gardener who keeps it looking so beautiful, whoever he/she/or they are !
Years ago when a group of us listed all the churchyard memorials it was plain and uninteresting (apart from the tombstones that is!).
This is one stunning part of Dover.

On my usual trip round the countryside to get to my appointment at K & C I was entranced by the swathes of daffodils along all the roads and lanes. I do not know who planted them, or how they got there, but the result is absolutely beautiful.

The flowers at St. Mary's are truly lovely, but someone should walk around the gardens now and again and pick up all the litter - empty lager cans and other rubbish. There was graffiti a little while ago, not sure if it's been cleaned off, but it made the beautiful church that it is, look neglected.
I know David is a very busy man, maybe one of his flock could look after it.
