    The real issue is funding and not beach huts or parking. We all know that central Government has cut funding to local authorities year on year since 2010 and other than a levy for social care this year Council tax could not be raised. In order not to cut vital services councils around the country have had to look for other forms of revenue such as parking charges, admission fees to leisure centres and swimming pools and as we have now discovered beach huts.
