We were in Coldred on Sunday, just driving through as we were dropping Daughter Briony off at Eythorne. Never been there before but we stopped when PaulB spotted the Duckhouse and all talk turned to politics
funny that! Never been there before, it is a lovely picturesque village, so not surprised it has won best village awards. Also spotted a dovecote and saw a beautiful white dove flying over the village pond.
We had been to lunch at The Lydden Bell, the food was splendid
