Spring in pencester gardens
- 27 March 2012 12:07161595went past yesterday and reached the conclusion that our susan had arranged for the soil to lie fallow for a few years.
how wrong i was, a couple of chaps working away planting something.
not a day for school, a kickabout is a much better idea.

one can only conclude that the noble citizens of our fair town are not trusted to resist the temptation to half inch the new plants.

29 March 2012 17:02162062spoke to the landscapers this morning,he was saying that they planted some grasses and such like yesterday,came back this morning and two of the plants had gone missing hence the fencing.

- 29 March 2012 18:34162084There might just be the possibility that some bird rips out a newly placed plant sometimes.
The freshly dug earth attracts worms, and I wouldn't put it past the odd seagull to rip up a small plant to move the soil and peck ants or worms.
