21:2283257Reading through a local take away menu I spotted this.
Well I found it amusing.

21:3783263Veg chicken and veg duck are processed textured soya protein tarted up to taste and look like chicken and duck respectively. I presume the menu is from the Twin, I have seen it on their menu before. It really isn't much cop.
PG.

21:5383265Well, I wasn't going to mention this, but in one of last week's papers "Dover Pride" announced that the new seafront walk was "Formerly Opened"!

09:0383293The last Dover Pride article I read in the Express a few weeks ago, was written by Anne Knight; I thought she left at least a couple or more years ago. An old article ?

09:4783299Yes, Roger, it was indeed Anne Knight. The feature was on the business page (p26) of the DE dated November 25.
To be fair to Dover Pride the error was probably on the part of the sub-editor.
To be honest I don't think us ratepayers get value for money from Dover Pride, I say that as an individual and not as a retired member of of LRCF (which has to have a relationship with them).

19:0983353Even more of a record Alec in that neither Keith nor Barry chimed in on a political stance!
