  With regard to the buried Spitfires, no luck so far, it would seem that they were never buried in the first place. The two companies who formed the search party have gone their seperate ways, so no further searches in the near future. It was a nice idea but I think we can consider the case closed, at least for now, I'll keep the forum posted if I hear anything in the future.
  I have had an active interest in heritage aircraft for many years and have the good fortune to have photographed many of them over time, if you are interested you will find a small selection of aircraft on my website, the link is below.
